Roy D. Pinsky
Head of the Business/Corporate/Tax and Transportation/Logistics Practice Groups.
Roy Pinsky received a B.S. degree from Syracuse University in 1969 and his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 1971. He is admitted to the New York State Bar and the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern and Western Districts of New York.
Professional & Public Service – Roy Pinsky has served as Chairman of both the Networking and the Liaison Committees of the Transportation Lawyers Association, and served as a director. He is currently a member of the New York State and Florida Bar Associations and serves as Chairman of the Fee Dispute Arbitration Committee for the Onondaga County Bar Association. He is currently a member of the Canadian Transport Lawyers Association and the Conference of Freight Counsel. Roy is a former member of the Association of Transportation Law, Logistics & Policy, the Defense Research Institute and the NY State Trial lawyers Association.
Roy is a past member of the Grievance Committee for the State of New York, Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, Fourth Judicial Department, Fifth Judicial District and an Investigator for the Onondaga County Bar Association Grievance Committee.
Roy has served as a special consultant to the Syracuse Board of Education, instructing administrators and teachers in legal principles and concepts. He formerly served as National President of the Syracuse University School of Management Alumni Association.
Roy is a licensed real estate broker and has served as a small claims tax assessment review hearing officer in and for the Supreme Court, Fifth Judicial District.
Honors – Roy holds an honorable discharge from the US Army and is currently listed in Who's Who. He has contributed articles to professional journals and has lectured before various groups and educational institutions.
Community Service – Roy is the former Vice President of his religious congregation and serves in various capacities with local fraternal, religious and political organizations. He recently completed his service on the board of directors of Menorah Park, a local multi-level senior care campus.
