Founding partner of the firm, Philip C. Pinsky, is distinguished in the practice of Government Relations with the benefit of almost two decades of experience as former First Assistant Counsel to the New York State Senate Majority.

Our philosophy has always been to provide the highest quality legal services to a select number of clients with each member of the firm maintaining expertise in one or more areas of the law. Our firm is composed of only senior attorneys, each having no fewer than 8 years in practice and others with more than 30 years in the firm. 

History of the Firm

Norman M. Pinsky began his practice of law in the City of Syracuse in 1935. When his sons Philip and Roy Pinsky, organized the firm Pinsky & Pinsky in 1972, Norman joined the firm as Of Counsel. In 1981, George Skandalis joined the firm, which subsequently became known as Pinsky & Skandalis.

Today, the firm consists of six attorneys: Philip C. Pinsky, Roy D. Pinsky, George Skandalis, Ellen S. Weinstein, Lauren M. Miller and Romolo Canzano. 

In January 1990, the firm opened an office at 111 Washington Avenue, Albany, New York, (the State Capital), to facilitate the Government Relations, Administrative Law and Transportation Law portions of its practice.
